The LED strip lights come with a remote control. Ensure the "→" arrow mark on the female connector and the strip light are on the same side. If not, unplug, rotate, and replug. Also, pull out the transparent chip before using the IR remote control and aim it at the IR receiver.

The LED strip lights are cuttable and linkable. You can cut the excess part along the marks to customize the length. Remember to turn off the power first before cutting. If you cut the strip, you'll need an additional power adapter to light up the remaining part. Gapless connectors are included in the package to connect the cut pieces seamlessly.
